Work & City Research Lab
The Helen Hamlyn Centre’s Work & City research lab has a strong focus on partnership with industry - from working with manufacturers who supply furniture and lighting collaborations with workplace architects, technology experts and property companies. Alliances have also been made with opinion-forming industry bodies, and with relevant voluntary and public sector organisations. These collaborations have largely been formed through projects on the Helen Hamlyn Research Associates programme.
In the area of academic studies, collaborators include leading university departments in the UK and overseas.
On the Welcoming Workplace project, international partners included the User Science Institute at Kyushu University, Japan, and the Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
