The Design Challenge is called All Inclusive Sarajevo. It runs from 25 - 29 May 2009 at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzogovina.
The project was initiated by Sarajevo designers Natasa Perkovic and Josip Lovrenovic and awarded a grant under the Creative Collaborations project fund of the British Council.
Four independent designers, all RCA alumni, will lead teams of designers from Sarajevo, Zagreb and the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo:
Working with four local organisations employing disabled people, the aim is to create a range of designer goods that will utilise their production capabilities and provide an income stream for the future. The final prototypes will be exhibited in Sarajevo, Belgrade and Zagreb.
