The WorkTech09 conference at the British Library, held on 23-24 November 2009, featured an exhibition of new workplace ideas and technologies. Catherine Greene exhibited her project on knowledge worker settings in collaboration with furniture maker Bene, and Claudia Dutson showed work on her study of low-energy lighting.
The conference was co-chaired by Jeremy Myerson, director of the Helen Hamlyn Centre, and featured keynotes addresses by philosopher Alain De Botton, architect Clive Wilkinson and futurist Erik Veldhoen.
The Worktech conference series is a collaboration between the British Library, Unwired Events and the Royal College of Art.
