Joanna Ivison spent five years working in retail management before she moved to Malta and helped set up a successful business providing English language courses and accommodation for groups of young students from all over Europe.
On her return to the UK in 1994 Joanna joined the Royal College of Art, holding various posts within the Development and Industrial Design Engineering departments. As Manager of the Selected Works programme from 2001 to 2005, she gained valuable experience of intellectual property rights issues, licensing and contracts, particularly in relation to art and design.
Joanna is responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of the Helen Hamlyn Centre. She is also Administration Manager of InnovationRCA, the College’s innovation network for graduates and business partners of the College.
