After finishing his year as a Research Associate in October 2003, Robert completed a product design residency at the Oribe Design Centre, Gifu, Japan. He then set up the industrial design consultancy Sprout Design with fellow HHRC alumnus Guy Robinson which he ran until August 2009.
Robert now works with his wife Tania on a freelance basis and has changed his name to Robert Beagley-Brown.
