Matthew Dearlove is currently a project co-ordinator for 'Home' at the Architecture Foundation in London. This programme looks at the developments and themes concerning Housing in Britain today.
He is also in the process of attending the NESTA Creative Pioneer Academy, with a view to setting up his own consultancy in the summer of 2005. He will be working with Developers, Housing Trusts and Local Authorities to develop design and regeneration briefs that are community led and fully in line with recent changes to the Housing Act and planning legislation.
The consultancy will develop an approach to urban regeneration that is socially inclusive and ensures that architects, residents, developers and local government are all working together to develop innovative design and creative thinking as a core component of changing our local environments.
