Fiona Scott 2003

After an invaluable year collaborating with the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre, looking at the urban design potentials of transport interchanges, Fiona was invited to consult on a related project for a rapid transit system in west Africa.

Both simultaneously and for the next five years, Fiona worked at architecture practice Adjaye Associates as project architect on various public buildings, urban design projects and residential projects.

She set up her own architecture practice Gort Scott, with Jay Gort, in 2007. They are based in East London and their work spans the scales between individual private buildings and urban design, always with a focus on the lived space of the city.
