Title: Dwell

Dwell: a Vehicle for Paris

Dwell is designed using the wheel base of the Mercedes / Swatch Smart car. Potentially to be powered using a hydrogen motor, the vehicle has a maximum speed limit of 40 mph. Dwell is clean, small, environment and pedestrian-friendly. It can carry two people and is a vehicle for a socially active city.

Dwell is 'human-friendly'

Designed under the principle of user/human-first, Dwell uses upright 'A' pillars to give a large physical human kinetic envelope. The interior package and operational devices detache the physical operation of the vehicle from the mechanical operation, so the users are performing movements that are ergonomically comfortable, not mechanically constrained. The vehicle is fleet-managed as a subscription option for temporary ownership, so public availability is always at a high level, and customer maintenance is zero.

Dwell is about 'Park and Live'

The Vehicle is a temporary social dwelling as well as a means of transportation. The interior gives the user the perception of space more akin to a small room than that of a cockpit. Full privacy is available using LCD windows (i.e. the user can create graphics and black out windows at will). Using 180 degree rotational seating and an expandable rear cabin, the vehicle physically & mentally removes the operation and thought of driving to allow a real social dwelling (i.e. hide what you don't need).

Title: Parisian city car

This car is based around the concept of liberte, egalite, and fraternite to produce a car that anyone can use, irrespective of disability or age. The car works by featuring a rotating central atrium that allows easier access and driving for users who are in wheelchairs, or those who have special mobility needs.

Title: NetPod

NetPod is a totally automatic solo personal transport device for communal use. With its voice controlled interface, it takes everyone, young as old, in the most efficient way to the destination.

Connected with other NetPods or by itself, it uses a network based on underground, monorails, ropeways or high speed trains (for longer routes). Also with a possibility to climb facades of buildings, it allows the user to commute directly from one destination to another.

Title: Citroen Xiné

The boundary between home activities and activities in public space are getting even more blurred. Based on the Parisian way of interacting with the street life, the Xiné acts as an extension of the urban home, like a mobile terrace space. With its panning function, this "widescreen" vehicle allows the users to explore and interact with cityscape...

With the use of GPS, the built-in personal driving assistant takes the user to desired destinations and could even inform about local happenings, opening times etc, depending on the users interests.
