Research Associates 2006 show and symposium

Projects from the Helen Hamlyn Research Associates Programme 2006 went on show this September in an exhibition at the RCA, entitled Human Frame. The exhibition formed the centrepiece of Innovation at the RCA 2006, the College's contribution to the London Design Festival. A symposium to discuss the projects was held on 25 September 2006.

Capture It, a volume of essays exploring the implications of an ageing population for workplace design, and Work Well, which documents nine inclusive work furniture designs, are now available free of charge. The winners of the annual Design for our Future Selves awards were announced on 27 June, as part of Innovation Night at the Royal College of Art. Twenty eight finalists competed for seven separate awards offering a total of £7,000 in prize money. More...
