Island of Works in the Sea of Home Designer: Joshua Simandjuntak Department: Design Products Second prize in the Work category The project consists of three inter-related designs based on study of the way people work at home. The Flip-Flop Cushion Table allows users to relax while working. The Push Me, Pull Me Dining/Working Table is a versatile worksurface which encourages users to be disciplined about working hours. The Hi-Lo-Task Light is a luminaire that can be used both for working at table level or closer to the floor. It is designed not to be as bold as conventional task lights.
