Joint 1st prize winner A range of safe, self-heating crockery for slow eaters that will instantaneously heat to 60° and significantly reduce the rate of cooling of any food or liquid in contact. The embedded chemical compound crystallises from a liquid to a solid while releasing heat. The crockery, designed primarily for hospital use, can be recharged with heat energy just by cleaning it in a dishwasher. |
