Small Business Programme
The Small Business Programme was superseded by Inclusive Business RCA in February 2005. These pages have not been updated since then, and are for archive purposes only.
Events
The public outreach of the Small Business Programme lies in the events in which it participates or organises and the presentations given to industry groups and other partners. The aim is to alert all parties to the important role played by inclusive design as a tool of business innovation and to provide design exemplars of good practice.
The DBA Design Challenge takes place annually.
The Mobility Roadshow is Europe's largest outdoor event for disabled people. Since 2001, it has been the venue for a three-day exhibition of the work of the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre and Royal College of Art students, organised by the Small Business programme. The HHRC will be exhibiting again next year and special Mobility Roadshow prizes are a feature of the Design for our Future Selves awards.
If you are a small business, industry body or network club constituency interested in a presentation on or the organisation of an event related to inclusive design, contact Julia Cassim.
