the UK. They aim to achieve a radically better quality of life for deaf and

- The UK’s
leading charity offering information, support and advice to over two million
people with sight problems. They provide information and guidelines to help
designers consider the needs of people with common visual impairments.

Grooms
- Founded in
1866, John Grooms is a leading UK provider of services for people with
disabilities. It works with disabled people to improve quality of life choice
and freedom but also to ensure that people are able to live as independently as
possible.
- Scope
- Scope is an
organisation working in England and Wales whose focus is people with cerebral
palsy. Their site has an excellent FAQ and information section.
- NHS Patient Experience: Wayfinding
- Informative
site from the UK National Health Service focusing on wayfinding, concentrating
on the needs of people with different abilities.

- Simple and
practical information on access solutions, facilities and equipment that can be
used when designing for people with disablilities.

- International Mature Marketing Network
- IMMN (International Mature Marketing Network) is the first international association of marketers, researchers, brands and educators focused on marketing communications to the 40+ market. Made up of members from the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, IMMN is dedicated to the promotion of relevant and respectful marketing to the world’s most plentiful and influential audience.
